Resolution via Registry Tweaking:- To do this:- Open Notepad and copy and paste the following:-  [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\ehshell.exe] "AllowMessengerExecHandleFailure"=dword:00000001 Now save the above as a reg file. Once the audio codec pack has been installed, try restarting the system then opening the file in Windows Media Player again.
